Your eligibility for SEBF benefits are set forth in your collective bargaining agreement or participation agreement that applies to your employment. The following is information regarding the SEBF disability plans.

Supplemental Disability

The plan provides a supplemental disability benefit if you become disabled because of an injury or illness that keeps you from working at your regular job.

If the illness or injury is work related, the Plan will pay $20 per week for a maximum of 26 weeks.

If the illness or injury is non-work related, the Plan will pay $35 per week for a maximum of 26 weeks.

Weekly Disability

The plan provides a weekly disability benefit for any non-work related illness or injury.

Disability benefits are paid the first day of disability due to a non-work related accident and beginning on the eighth consecutive day due to a non-work related illness.

The benefit is half of your average weekly wage to a maximum of $170 a week for up to 26 weeks.
